'Pay Rs 99,000 to get free pani puri for lifetime': Nagpur vendor introduces unique one-time payment offer

Known by different names in different cities - gol gappa, pani puri or puchka has yet again gained attention in Maharashtra.

A pani puri vendor in Nagpur, Vijay Mewalal Gupta, has introduced an offer of making a one-time payment of Rs 99,000 and getting free gol gappas for a lifetime.

After paying Rs 99,000, customers can visit the snack stall anytime and eat gol gappas for free.

The post which was shared on social media said, "In Nagpur, a pani puri vendor has introduced a unique offer: For a one-time payment of ₹99,000, customers can enjoy unlimited pani puri for life. This innovative deal has garnered significant attention on social media, with many intrigued by the concept."

"The vendor behind this offer is Vijay Mewalal Gupta, whose initiative has become a topic of discussion in the city. This isn’t the first time a Nagpur vendor has made headlines with unique pani puri offerings. Previously, a local vendor gained attention for serving a ‘Bahubali’ pani puri and hosting contests where participants could win cash prizes by consuming a certain number of pani puris within a minute," the post which garnered over 47,000 likes read.

The post's caption further read, "These creative promotions highlight the innovative approaches street food vendors in Nagpur are taking to attract and engage customers."

Pani puri or gol gappa is a deep-fried crispy sphere filled with a mixture of seasoned boiled potatoes, onions and chickpeas along with flavoured water.

A social media user replied to the post, "Best advertisement technique- even if no one is buying this scheme, still he is getting popularity, which will increase his sales."

Another said, "He wants to millionaire by using internet."

A third user said, "Pack karvaa ke le jaa sakte hain?"

An Instagram user replied, "Laxmi chit fund wale ka baap."
