Man deserts wife for not taking call

A man filed for divorce in Bihar’s Gopalganj district because his wife failed to receive his call on her mobile. 

A last-ditch attempt was made at the “Mahila Thana” (women’s police station) to save the marriage, but to no avail.

Farida Khatoon of Gopalganj married Sanaullah of Siwan last year. The couple were leading a normal life at Farida’s in-law’s place in Siwan till Sanaullah got a job in Hyderabad.The couple were invited for a wedding at Farida’s house in Gopalganj. Sanaullah refused to attend the function citing his new job. 

Farida, who attended the wedding and was busy with marriage rituals, failed to receive Sanaullah’s call.

Late in the night when Farida saw a missed call from her husband, she called back. An enraged Sanaullah did not receive her call.
