NDRF rescues around 100-150 people stranded in river in UP’s Kushinagar

Around 100-150 people got stranded in the middle of a river after the boat’s engine failed in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar last night. A team of NDRF reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Everyone was evacuated safely by them. Giving out more information on it, an NDRF official said, “Around 11 pm last night, we received info that a boat with around 100-150 people got stranded after its engine failed. NDRF team reached and started rescue operation immediately. Around 30-40 people rescued on country boats, others rescued too. Nobody's stranded now.”
