<p class="title">The BJP on Sunday described as "confession of defeat", the move of the Opposition parties to approach the Supreme Court over doubts over the reliability of electronic voting machines.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"The so-called all-party meet is nothing but a confession of defeat," BJP spokesman G V L Narasimha Rao said after leaders of seven opposition parties addressed a press conference on knocing the doors of Supreme Court on EVMs.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Rao accused the opposition parties of lacking an agenda for governance and a leadership that would inspire the people.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"The only thing they have in common is negativity and an attempt to somehow pull India back from the development it has witnessed in the past five years," he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He called the Opposition's Grand Alliance a non-alliance "because most constituents are fighting separately and are trying to find excuses for their impending massive defeat in the Lok Sabha polls".</p>.<p class="bodytext">"They have not only failed as an Opposition, but also failed to mount a challenge to the BJP in the elections," he said.</p>
