Congress chief Rahul Gandhi who sounded poll bugle in Rajasthan also tried to put a full stop on escalating cold war between two stalwarts of state Congress, Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot.

Rahul after concluding his speech made Gehlot and Pilot, hug each other. Both the leaders had been drifting away from each other as the election dates are nearing.

However, during Rahul Gandhi's visit to the state both the leaders were seen together all through his roadshow. Both leaders also criticised the BJP government in Rajasthan and took a dig at Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje by calling her corrupt.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot in his address to party workers said, "BJP's days are over. Its the turn of Congress party to improve the condition of Rajasthan. She (Raje) has been misusing public money for her own yatra. And there is no reason to have 'Gaurav' (pride), as the state has come up on the top of the crime list in the country".

Similarly, former chief minister and Congress general secretary, Ashok Gehlot criticised Vasundhara on her fake promises. "She got a thumping majority in 2013 just because of Modi's wave. She has cheated the people of Rajasthan. During her regime, Rajasthan has witnessed lynchings, fake encounters and rise in the hate crime. Minority and Dalits have been huge sufferers," he charged.
