Punjab Chief Minister Captain (Retired) Amarinder Singh on July 26 laid a wreath and saluted the valorous soldiers on the occasion of 22nd Kargil Vijay Diwas at a memorial in Chandigarh. The Indian Armed Forces had defeated Pakistan on July 26, 1999, by capturing mountains from the Pakistani Army.
