<p class="title">The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday decided to restore the provisions pertaining to anticipatory bail following Supreme Court directions.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The state cabinet gave its nod for the proposal to amending Section 438 of the CrPC (Uttar Pradesh).</p>.<p class="bodytext">A bill in this regard would be tabled in the forthcoming session of the state Assembly.</p>.<p class="bodytext"> Arvind Kumar, Uttar Pradesh principal secretary for home, said that the amended law would take effect after being adopted by the house and approved by the Centre.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He said that the anticipatory bail provisions would be restored with certain conditions.</p>.<p class="bodytext">''There will be no anticipatory bail in cases, where the punishment is death sentence and also cases under the Gangster's Act,'' he added.</p>
