<p class="rtejustify">The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a plea seeking its intervention to ensure proper implementation of the Right to Education Act.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">"India is a huge country. Certainly, education is a priority. But one can't expect miracles to happen overnight," Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi said, presiding over a three-judge bench.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">Senior advocate Colin Gonsalves, representing 'Akhil Bhartiya Prathmik Shikshak Sangh', contended that there has been poor implementation of the Right to Education Act.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">He also pointed out despite the representation sent to authorities, nothing much has been done.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">"We don't think, we can, or we should or we will examine implementation of an Act," the bench, also comprising Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and K M Joseph, said.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">"We will not interfere," the bench added, dismissing the petition.</p>
