<p>Justice Akil Quereshi granted the custody after the CBI Thursday challenged in the high court the denial of remand of Shah, who has been arrested in the case.<br />Veteran lawyer K.T.S. Tulsi will represent the CBI in the high court.<br /><br />The Special CBI court had Wednesday rejected the CBI plea to take Shah, the former minister of state for home, on remand for further questioning in connection with the case. <br /><br />The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has been accused of killing Sohrabuddin in a staged shootout Nov 26, 2005 near Ahmedabad on grounds that he was a Lashkar-e-Taiba operative. His wife Kauser-Bi has also been missing since then.<br />A 3,000 page chargesheet has been filed against Shah.<br /></p>
