Anna University sexual assault case: Madras High Court takes suo motu cognisance

The Madras High Court took suo motu cognisance of the alleged sexual assault case which happened at the Anna University, reports ANI news agency

A division bench of Justices SM Subramaniam and V Lakshminarayanan initiated the suo motu petition following a request made by an advocate, R Varalakshmi.
