<p>Lucknow: Seven people, including a two-year-old child, were killed in a chopper crash near Gaurikund on the Char Dham Yatra route in Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand on Sunday morning.</p><p>According to police sources, the chopper crashed in the Gaurikund jungle at around 0520 hours amid poor visibility while on its way back from Kedarnath to Phata with the pilgrims and some others.</p><p>The dead also included the pilot of the chopper, who was identified as Rajbeer Singh Chauhan, a resident of Dausa district in Rajasthan.</p><p>Sources said that the chopper caught fire after crashing and all the seven passengers died on the spot. Their bodies were charred beyond recognition and DNA tests would be performed to identify the bodies before being handed over to the next of kin.</p>.Kedarnath chopper crash: Helicopter services for Chardham yatra suspended for two days .<p>The officials said that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered that the helicopter services to Kedarnath be halted till Monday. Dhami also convened a high level meeting to deliberate on the course of action against the helicopter operating company.</p><p>The ill-fated chopper belonged to Aryan Aviation.</p><p>Sources said that the state government has suspended all flights of Aryan Aviation. Action was also taken against the Trans Bharat Aviation after reports that two of its choppers had operated in bad weather conditions recently. The licenses of the two pilots who had flown the choppers have been suspended for six months.</p><p>It was the fifth incident of a chopper crash on the Char Dham Yatra route since it started on April 30.</p><p>Dhami said that a high level inquiry would be conducted into the crash. Sources said that only those pilots who had experience of flying in the Himalayan region, would be permitted to fly the choppers on the Yatra route</p><p>The state government said that a Command and Coordination Centre would be established in Dehradun in which the officials from DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) , Disaster Management would be deployed.</p><p>Sources said that the deceased included three members of a family from Yavatmal district in Maharashtra, identified as Raj Kumar Jaiswal, Shraddha Jaiswal and two year old Kashi Jaiswal An employee of the Badri Kedar Temple Committee Vikram Rawat and two others from Uttar Pradesh were also among the dead.</p>
