We want fair, transparent and peaceful polls: Tripura CEO

Talking on the declaration of the General Election held in Tripura, the Chief Election Officer, Kiran Gitte on January 18 said that an adequate number of Central Armed Paramilitary Forces reached there and that he wants fair, transparent and peaceful polls.

He said, “Adequate number of Central Armed Paramilitary Forces reached here. Flag marches and night patrolling are also being done. We want fair, transparent, and peaceful polls. Senior citizens above the age of 80 and persons with disabilities will have the option to vote from home.”
