MLC V S Ugrappa slammed K R Hospital Nursing Hostel authorities for poor maintenance and told them to maintain hygiene and safety.
Ugrappa is also the former chairman of the Committee on Prevention of Crime and Violence Against Women & Children.
Ugrappa told the hostel authorities to ensure safety of the students in the hostel.
It maybe recalled, that complaints of a man prowling near the hostel, was reported a few days back. This man also tried to steal mobile phones and allegedly attacked a student. The police are investigating the case.
Ugrappa visited the hostel on Tuesday for an inspection. He took the hostel administration to task following complaints by inmates.
