An AMU student, identified as Osama, a resident of state's Mau district, about 325 kilometres from here, was arrested for allegedly posting a message on social media ''supporting'' Thursday's terror attack at Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir, in which 44 CRPF jawans had been martyred.

Osama had also allegedly made objectionable comments on the Indian security forces, sources said. He was arrested from his home at Dakshin Tola locality in Mau town late on Friday night.

Sources said that a BA student, identified as Rajab Ali, was arrested from Alambagh locality in the state capital after he allegedly ''praised'' the terrorists for targeting CRPF jawans at Pulwama. Rajab was also expelled from the college.

Police were looking for a youth in state's Ballia district, about 400 kilometres from here, for an alleged objectionable post on the terror attack, sources said.

Police said that a group of saffron activists attacked students at a college in Moradabad town on Saturday over another alleged 'pro-terror' post. The saffron activists also opened fire and clashed with the students in which three suffered injuries.

An AMU student had been suspended and booked in a case of sedition after he allegedly mocked the security forces over Pulwama terror attack.
