Rahul's aircraft was to take off from Bakshi ka Talav airport at the Air Force station on the city outskirts at around 9pm but continuous rains prevented the take-off, Congress sources said.
They said the Congress leader finally boarded a commercial plane which took off from the city at 1:30 am.Earlier they had said that Rahul was expected to leave for Delhi tomorrow.
