IIT-Kharagpur to organise symposium in January

 Workshops will be held at seven centres, including Bangalore and Noida, from September 30. A Kshitij team has already landed in Bangalore.

The students will visit around 25 colleges in the City and make presentations on the previous festivals.

An official release said here on Saturday that workshops will be conducted on robotics, finance and cryptography. Details are available at www.ktj.in.

The event will attract corporate giants like GE, Adobe, Tata and others and acknowledged associations, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning, and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (Britain).

Several foreign universities, including from the US, the UK and Sharjah, will participate. Over 30,000 people, mainly students from India and abroad, will participate in 40 quality events in the fields of technology and management covering diverse fields like coding events, case studies, B-plan competition, paper presentation contests, mechanical events, industrial design problems, aero-modelling, robotics, etc.
