HDK, Naidu discuss on unity among regional parties

Andhra Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met his Karnataka counterpart H D Kumaraswamy at Gateway hotel in Vijayawada this morning, enroute to Naidu's Tirupati tour.

The Karnataka CM was in Vijayawada to offer prayers at the Kanakadurga Temple at Indrakeeladri.

In a brief meeting, both of them discussed the necessity of unity among all regional parties, especially in South India. The meeting continued for half an hour. Later interacting with media persons, Naidu said all the regional parties should come together to defeat NDA govt.

Stating that it is a short time discussion, the Chief Minister said again they sit together to discuss developing an alternative to NDA and chalk out a plan. Both the Chief Ministers stressed the need for unity of all regional parties.

Ministers Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Prattipati Pulla Rao, MLA GV Anjaneyulu and TDP leader Raghurama Krishnam Raju and others were present.
