
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which has been lying low since the political activity started in Chhattisgarh, on Monday announced its list of candidates.
The party has decided to fight the elections in 40 seats and a list of 13 names has been put up.
Neelkanth Tripathi, a member of the party's election management committee, said that the list of remaining candidates will be announced soon as it has to be approved by Sharad Pawar, NCP national president.
According to list, Vishal Gadewal is the party's candidate from Masturi (ST), Suresh Kingale from Beltara, Thaneshwar Sahu at Bilaspur, Nikhad Ram Nishad at Bilha, Rameshwar Kewat at Takhatpur, Ramkhelawan Maravi at Pratappur (ST), Ram Rai at Ramanujganj, Manish Singh at Bhatgaon, Chakradhari Singh Kanwar at Lundra, Rajni Ekka at Sitapur, Laxman Ram Xalxo at Samari, Siyaram Toppo at Pathalgaon and Satyendra Kumar Mishra at Baikuntpur.
