Rahul should clear air on 'Mrs Gandhi'

Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party state president Dharamlal Kaushik while addressing a press conference on Monday said Rahul Gandhi should clear the air on 'Mrs Gandhi' as the person calling others 'thief’ is proving to be a ‘thief’ himself.

Enforcement Directorate has said Christian Michel, the accused in AgustaWestland chopper scam has taken the name of 'Mrs Gandhi' and also spoke about the "son of the Italian lady" during interrogation.

It is not a new revelation of Congress' involvement in defence scams. Be it the ‘Jeep Scam’, Bofors or AgustaWestland VVIP chopper case, in all the cases, shreds of evidence have been against the Congress leadership, Kaushik said.

Reacting to the statement by BJP state president, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that BJP is making noise to save persons involved in the Civil Supplies Scam and AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam in Chhattisgarh also.
