Market watchdog International Data Corporation released the report on best-selling smartphones around the world for the quarter ending March 2022.
Francisco Jeronimo, associate VP, IDC revealed that phones from Apple and Samsung filled all the top five slots on the chart. "Apple revenues from the iPhone 13 range totalled $42B (more than 84 per cent of total iPhone sales) and Samsung leads in the low-end, but it only generated $3.6B (A12 and A32)," Jeronimo noted.
