Primary pilot's sickness reported to Corendon Airlines; backup pilot arranged also says he's sick

A Spicejet flight to Dubai from Mangaluru International Airport could not take off at 12.45 am on Wednesday, after the pilot complained of ill health.

According to a Spicejet official, the operating and cabin crew for the flight is provided by Corendon Airlines.

The pilot's sickness was reported to Corendon Airlines. They arranged for another pilot at 7 am, who also complained of sickness.

Corendon Airlines have now arranged for a third pilot from another location.

Hence, the departure of the flight is rescheduled to 5 pm. More details are awaited.
