Prof B S Raman passes away

St Aloysius College Department of Commerce former lecturer Prof B S Raman passed away at his residence in Ooty after a brief illness.

Raman served in the College for 35 years from 1960 to 1995. He wrote more than 100 books on commerce, management and associated subject. His passionate teaching of accountancy inspired many students to become chartered accountants. The college held a condolence meeting on Saturday and will organise a public condolence meeting on August 1, at Eric Mathias Hall.
