<p class="title">Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (RDPR) Minister Krishna Byre Gowda visited the vented dam constructed using Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee (NREGA) scheme at Netlamudnoor in Bantwal on Tuesday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He said many more such vented dams using NREGA funds would be constructed to improve the groundwater table.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Every gram panchayat must have at least 50 such vented dams, to supply water to farmland, he pointed out.</p>
