Demanding three acres farmland along with houses for the flood victims, the Bhoomi Mathu Vasathi Hakku Vanchitara Horata Samithi will stage a protest in front of DC's office in Madikeri on November 12, said district convener Nirvanappa.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, he said the victims who lost their houses, paddy fields and coffee estates are now provided shelter at relief camps. The applications submitted by the victims demanding houses are not cleared, he alleged.
Samithi member Amin Mohisin said, "Those who have submitted applications under 94 C of Land Revenue Act to regularise their land have not received any relief from the authorities."
Bahujana Karmikara Sangha president K Monappa said, "In spite of possessing valid documents, the officials have failed to issue title deeds for the residents of Palemadu."
