A schoolgirl was killed and two others were grievously injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a bike, near Vivekananda Nagar, at Sirsi on Wednesday morning.
The deceased girl has been identified as Deepa Lamani. She was going to school on the bike with her father.
Her sister Apoorva and the father who was riding the bike were seriously injured and are being treated at a local hospital.
