Kamala Devi led the goal rush with a hat-trick, Sasmita Malik found the net twice while Tababi Devi struck once for India. Kamala opened the scoring as early as in the seventh minute of the match and added two more, in the 18th and 26th minute. In between Malik struck once in the 23rd minute, before adding another to her name two minutes before half time.

Tababi found the target in the 39th minute. Despite their total domination, India, interestingly, scored all their goals in the first half. Their inability to find the net after change of ends, however, didn't matter in the end. India had started the campaign with a 18-0 thrashing of Bhutan and continued their rampaging form in the next match against Sri Lanka, scripting a 7-0 win over the islanders.

India will play Pakistan in the semi-finals on December 20.
