“It’s a bit disappointing that we had to shift the semifinals,” the Challengers’ skipper said on Tuesday.

“However, that’s not in our control. As players, we have to play the game. The home crowd would have been great for us, it’s all about home advantage. But I am sure the entire Bangalore crowd and supporters of Royal Challengers would be rooting for us tomorrow.”

Kumble also dismissed the notion of an international comeback through Twenty20 cricket.

“I’m happy just playing the IPL, I am not looking at playing international cricket,” he emphasised.

“For me, international cricket is over. IPL is something I’m happy and comfortable playing.”

Kumble retired from international cricket in 2008 during the series against Australia.
