Sania a match away from US Open main draw

The 23-year-old Indian now plays 31-year-old Colombian Catalina Castano against whom she leads 2-0.This is the first time since 2005 that Sania is playing in the qualifying round to enter a Grand Slam main draw because of dip in her rankings.Her best performance here was her fourth round appearance in 2005.
