The Indian and England cricket teams, who would be locking horns in the series deciding third T20I on Wednesday at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, checked into the City on Monday evening.

Tickets have been sold out for the match which is a homecoming of sorts for skipper Virat Kohli, the hugely popular captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Meanwhile, curator K Sriram promised a run-fest.  “It will be a sporting wicket, a good batting track. My expectation is that the scores will be around 160-170. The outfield looks like a snooker table. The grass has become greener and lush after the new drainage was installed.”
