The 6,000-seater state-of-the-art venue has been built at a cost of Rs 120 crore and has a built-up area of 22,350 square metre.
“This is an occasion to witness the inauguration of a world-class venue, one of the best wrestling centre in the country. This is an outstanding and a remarkable engineering marvel equipped with all the modern facilities,” said Gill.
The stadium is equipped with green building features like thermal insulation of the entire roof, gypsum board partitions and wall panellings, external glazing with low energy tinted glasses and energy efficient lighting fixtures.
