<p class="title">Two persons were killed on the spot when an ore lorry crashed into a roadside hotel near Rayapur Gate at Molakalmuru on Monday at 9 pm.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The victims have been identified as hotel owner Nethravathi (30) and Mallikarjun (17), a customer from Myasarahatti village. The lorry driver is said to be absconding.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It can be recalled that a couple of years ago three persons were killed when a lorry had crashed into a hotel at the same spot. Local people have complained to the police that ore-laden lorries had been responsible for many an accidents on the highway. A case has been booked in this regard.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A courier vehicle, a lorry and a car were involved in a serial accident on Bengaluru-Ballari state highway near Tumakurlahalli Gate on Tuesday, hindering traffic for some time.
