Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar sought to know the reasons behind as many as 3,718 farmers committing suicide in the state during the last five years of Congress rule.

The party has sought an answer on what happened to Rs 5,693 crore released by the Narendra Modi government to the state during the last three years towards natural disaster relief management.

Kumar also sought answers from Rahul on the increasing number of atrocities on women, a spurt in communal violence and also “corruption” in infrastructure works during the Congress regime in Karnataka.
