Abdul Haq had filed a plea stating that Roshan Baig had purchased a public property measuring 200x201 sq ft site on Thimmaiah Road in 2006 from the BBMP.
The petitioner had contended that BBMP was not authorised to sell the land directly and had to call for an auction to dispose such a property. The petitioner stated that he had requested for the sale of land to him, as he wanted to start a school, which was rejected.
