'BBMP booty stashed in Tumakuru'

 Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has said that the officials of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike have stashed their ill-gotten wealth in bank accounts in Tumakuru district.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he said that the officials of the Palike had swindled huge sums of money and he would soon make documents public to expose the scam. He said that the Congress had raked up Lahar Singh’s diary in order to divert the attention from diary seized from the residence of MLC Govindaraju. He said that the probe into both the diaries could be entrusted to the CBI to know the truth. “If necessary, we will also meet the President and prime minister seeking a CBI probe,” he said.
