Chief minister wants Centre to part with loan data

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday urged the Karnataka BJP leaders to impress upon the Centre to direct nationalised banks to furnish data on loan accounts for implementation of the loan waiver scheme.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Kumaraswamy said, “If nationalised banks have not given any data till date, it only means that there’s politics at play here. The officials have been in constant touch with the nationalised banks. I will be grateful if the state BJP leaders can impress upon the Centre in this matter,” he added.
