Chincholi bypoll on May 19

Chincholi Assembly segment by-poll will be held on May 19.

As per the Election Commission notification, April 29 will be last day of making nominations and scrutiny will be held on April 30. Counting will be held on May 23.

The Assembly segment fell vacant following the resignation of sitting MLA Umesh Jadhav. Jadhav, who was Congress MLA from the segment, quit the party as well as Assembly and contesting as BJP candidate from Gulbarga Lok Sabha seat.
