Cong to hold statewide protest against Centre

The Congress will hold statewide protests from September 6 to 15 against the NDA government on the alleged irregularities in the Rafale deal, demonetisation and hike in fuel prices, said AICC general secretary K C Venugopal.

Venugopal, who has been holding meetings for the last three days, said here on Sunday that the Congress was confident of taking up the electoral challenge throughout the nation.

Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara said that the party would prepare the list of Lok Sabha candidates by next week, which would subsequently be finalised by the high command.
