* Bangalore Development Authority has contributed Rs 50 crore towards the State Calamity Relief Fund for relief works in flood-hit areas. BDA Commissioner Siddaiah handed over the cheque to Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in a function in Bangalore.
* Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce contributed Rs 60 lakh towards relief works. Chairperson Jayamala presented the cheque to the Chief Minister.
* Bangalore Metropolitan Regional Development Corporation (BMRDA) Commissioner Abhijit Das Gupta presented a cheque of Rs 2 crore to Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa for the flood relief fund.
