A leopard entered a residential apartment in J P Nagar, on Monday night, and attacked a dog. The residents, who woke up due to the cries of the dog, chased it away.

However, the efforts of the Forest department personnel to trace the leopard turned futile.

The movement of leopards on the Mysuru Airport in Mandakalli, has been recorded on CCTV camera on Tuesday early morning.

Range Forest Officer Devaraju said, the combing operation for the leopards would be launched on Wednesday morning.

A video of a leopard and a porcupine moving on the road, behind the Race Course, from CAR Grounds up to the Dhobi Ghat, had gone viral on the social media on Monday.
