Special drive to dispose pending cases in Kolar

 Superintendent of Police K P Puttaswamy, addressing the mediapersons here on Saturday said, a special squad will be constituted at the circle or the subdivision level, to solve the pending cases.

The squad will look into 88 cases related to split up, 25 anticipatory bail cases, 31 proclamation cases, 455 cases in which warrant of execution is pending and 134 cases which are pending from long time.

He advised to contact him or the Additional SP in case of cylinder robbery at the school without any hesitation.

He also suggested the school authority to store the cylinder in a safer place.

School authority should co-operate with the police in guarding the cylinder used for the mid-day meals, he added. He suggested public to be more careful when they draw heavy amount of cash from the bank.

Meeting had been convened with the bank managers and for the security purpose  police in mufti will be deployed, he said.

He asked the public to inform the police whenever they go away from their houses for a long time. Additional Superintendent of Police S R Phanindra Singh, DySP Chalavadi, Circle-inspectors Renukaprasad, V Dhananjaya were present.
