Five held for rave party at homestay

Kodagu police arrested five people who were holding a rave party at a homestay at Nelaji village near Napoklu.

Police said that those arrested were Jude Pereira of Pune, Shankar Shanthanu of Mumbai, Sairam Ramesh of Cambridge layout in Bengaluru, M V Ishwar of Mathikere in Bengaluru and homestay owner Maleyanda A Appanna.

The police seized 29-gram charas, pipes, machines used for powdering ganja, musical instruments, generator, mini lorry and cigarette paper, totally worth Rs 1.75 lakh.
