HDK to stay at Vastu-friendly VTU guest house

Known for his penchant for Vastu and astrology, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has made sure that his stay is Vastu compliant in Belagavi during the 10-day winter session, starting December 10.

Kumaraswamy has decided to stay at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) guest house for which officials have made arrangements while declining the request for accommodation by Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah there.

The chief ministers, in the past, had stayed at circuit house during the session. However, Kumaraswamy, has asked the officials to arrange for his accommodation at VTU guest house. It is said, the chief minister decided to shift his accomodation to the VTU guest house for Vastu reasons.

According to sources, Siddaramaiah had insisted the officials to provide him accommodation at the varsity guest house. But the officials turned down his request after Kumaraswamy decided to stay there.

Add to it, Siddaramaiah’s request for accommodatiozn at the circuit house was declined as the Home department reserved it due to its close proximity to the Suvarna Soudha.

Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah has decided to skip the session citing a trip to Malaysia to honour a personal commitment.
