A day after Chief Minister Kumaraswamy said that it is his misfortune to serve "as the chief minister in a coalition government for the second time," he reiterated that the government is stable.

Speaking to the media at the inaugural function of the Republic Day flower show at Lalbagh, the CM said: "if JD(S) has a simple majority, then I would have done my work unhindered."

"It is natural that in a coalition government, you do not always get a chance to implement your vision. It has happened with me also," he said, adding that the coalition government is running smoothly.

CM said that the BJP legislators will come back as they went for resting and holidaying. "Let them spend some time to hear to the problems of people," he advised.

He also said that 'Operation Kamala' has not affected his government.

Bharat Ratna for Shivakumara Swami

The request of giving Bharat Ratna to Siddaganga seer is pending with the centre since Abdul Kalam's time. "Now, I will request the government again."

He added that Swami is doing fine and he will visit him today afternoon.
