IIM-Bangalore case study bags international honour

‘Nara­yana Nethralaya: Expanding Affordable Eye Care, a case study by IIM-Bangalore Prof (Marketing) and Executive Post Graduate Programme chairperson G Shainesh and case writer Suhuruta Kulkarni, has won the second spot in NextBillion Case Writing Competition 2014.

In its fourth year, the competition recognises and publishes best case studies on business strategies aimed at alleviating poverty.

As many as 52 entries from 34 universities across 15 countries were received this year.

Another case study ‘The Jaipur Foot: Challenges in Leading a Free Service Organisation’ by IIM-Bangalore Prof (Quantitative Methods and Information Systems) U Dinesh Kumar, and case writer Menaka Rao, has received an honourable mention.

The winning cases will be marketed to top business schools worldwide for adoption in business courses.
