Boys and girls who have secured first and second places in the taluk level athletics and emerged victorious in 4x100 mm and 4x400 mm relay in group events are eligible to take part. The participants should bring the necessary sport equipment and report to Assistant Director of Youth Service and Sports Department within 9 am on Oct 30.
District administration, Z P, Karnataka Sports Authority and Youth Service and Sports Department have jointly organised the event. Zilla Panchayat president M Srinivas will inaugurate the two-day event at 10.30 am. Legislator Varthur Prakash and ZP vice-president Naveeda Khanum will be present at the inaugural function, according to a press release.
