Flower show in Raja Seat on May 6

Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah, MLA M P Appachu Ranjan, MLCs M C Nanaiah, T John, Zilla Panchayat President Ravi Kushalappa will be invited as guest.

The flowers grown in more than 6,000 to 7,000 pots will be exhibited during the flower show. About eight varieties flowering plants were brought from Pune, said Horticulture department Deputy Director J Shivamurthy.

As many as 50 stalls will be set up at Gandhi Maidan. Fruits, flowers and vegetables grown by the farmers will be exhibited.

Flower rangoli competition will be organised.  The winners of the competition will be given prizes during the valedictory of the flower show.
