A probe has been initiated into the malicious propaganda against Kodagu district Deputy Commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy.
Some miscreants have posted disrespectful comments on social media against the deputy commissioner and have alleged that she is favouring certain communities.
A complaint has been registered in the town police station in this connection.
Administrators of various WhatsApp groups have been questioned. Around 50 people have been questioned so far.
