Service charges over railway tickets from Feb 15

The non-rail head passenger reservation centres including the train ticket reservation counter located at the premises of deputy commissioner’s office in Mangaluru will have to pay service charges from February 15.

According to a press release, the service charges are in addition to reservation charges. The passengers will have to pay Rs 15 for second class sleeper and second sitting, Rs 20 for 3AC and AC chair car, Rs 30 for 2 AC and First Class and Rs 10 for all categories of cancellation of tickets.

The other non-rail head passenger reservation centres within the jurisdiction of Palakkad Division are Mukkam Service Co-operative Bank Ltd, Mukkam, Wayanad, collectorate, Kasaragod, Vadakkenchery Indira Priyad-arsini bus stand complex, Vadakkenchery, Palakkad, Kottakkal municipality tourist taxi stand, Kottakkal, Malappuram, taluk office, Taliparamba, Kannur block office panchayat, Koduvally, Kozhikode grama panchayat office, Nemmara, Palakkad and Manjeri municipality new bus stand complex, Manjeri, Malappuram.
