Several prominent personalities in the city were among the early voters in Bengaluru.
In Bengaluru, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, chairperson of Infosys foundation Sudha Murthy and prominent actors like Ramesh Arvind, Sudeep and Upendra exercised their franchise.
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, his wife Anita Kumaraswamy and son Nikhil - coalition candidate from Mandya - cast their votes in Ketaganahalli, while JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and his wife Chennamma voted at Haradanahalli in Hassan district.
Other prominent leaders who voted included co-ordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah, titular king of Mysuru Yaduveer Wadiyar and his wife Trisha, all of whom voted in Mysuru district.
