"Do I need to react to drunkards' complaint against the chief minister with high command?"

This is how Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K S Eshwarappa reacted to the question on BJP MLAs' complaint with the high command that the chief minister is ignoring legislators of his own party, during an interaction with media persons, here on Thursday.

He said some people have said that the chief minister is giving more grants to the constituencies represented by Congress and JD(S). He did not like to react to it.

Referring to Congress leader Siddaramaiah's remark on Kurubas' agitation for ST status, Eshwarappa said there is a difference between his action and words. "Siddaramaiah has stated that Kurubas should have staged the agitation after the completion of an ethnographic study on the issue. If it is right, he could have shared it with the seer earlier. He is disturbed after seeing people's participation in Kuruba community convention in Bengaluru, Eshwarappa said.
